Sensual sculpture provides a creative means by which you reclaim your personal power through the balancing of your feminine and masculine energies. Our relationships determine our sense of security in our bodies and in the world. When they are out of order, various levels of chaos begin to emerge from the conflicting relationships with which we are challenged.
In sensual sculpture, clay becomes a healing medium through which the feminine and masculine parts of our selves make peace with each other. The emotional wounds of our feminine and masculine energies visually represent themselves in the clay so that they can be addressed and healed. Although we embody into a male or female form, we carry both energies within us purposefully. Your feminine nature provides the creative solutions for the positive changes you require. Your masculine nature provides the power to make those life-affirming changes a reality. In order to flow into harmony in any relationship, you need to be happily married to the powerful man and dynamic woman who live inside of you. The clay is a neutral yet generous medium through which we re-discover our ability to nurture ourselves. The inhibiting and painful experiences that prevented us from embodying the joy that we came to Earth to experience slowly begin to heal through the images the clay presents to us. Because of its malleability, we discover our own flexibility and adaptability. We develop an intimate connection to the divine masculine and feminine within so that peace grows within and overflows. Your sculpture, as healing art, reminds you to honor the masculine and feminine energies as life giving within and around you.
Our ability to redirect energy from negative personal attachments into positive life-affirming relationships can only occur if we are empowered to choose love over fear. Through the clay we can start to gain mastery over our fears. By modeling choices that are life affirming, victimization ceases to have so much control over us. It is the emotional body that suffers the greatest distress from relational trauma. It freezes under the pain and locks individuals into destructive relational patterns that can destroy lives. Instead of going or remaining emotionally numb, as we work the clay we are encouraged to move into action. We start to recover the power to heal our masculine and feminine wounds.
 Because our sexuality is the energy stream through which creativity supports us physically, financially, in our relationships and throughout our careers, it is essential that we embrace a healthy understanding of our gender power. Your root chakra at the base of the spine and your sacral chakra in your pelvis are the physical touch points of the creative power of existence. It is through those areas that we are conceived and physically enter this world. By physically working the clay with our hands, we return to the primal nature of the source of our human existence, the Earth herself. It is her body that gave birth to us all and in working with the clay we harmonize with the masculine and feminine energies of the planet on which we were born to thrive.
